Today I was on the run all day, and I had no time for cooking as I wanted to. I had to come up with a quick and tasty recipe to feed my whole family. So I have this Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings recipe which could be a great starter, or could be served as a main dish accompanied by a seasonal salad.
I went to a grocery store, after I left my boy to kindergarten, and bought a dozen chicken wings and ran home to finish up my lunch.
I made my own marinade using Sweet Chilli Sauce and coated the wings, then I put them in a self-closing bag for few hours in the fridge.
At noon when we got back home I baked the wings in a tray for 30 minutes, and with minimal effort we had a tasty meal.
- Prep Time : 1h 20 min
- Cook Time : 30-40 minutes
In a mini chopper or in a bowl mix crushed garlic, sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, honey and Sesame oil so as to result a marinade.
Season wings with salt and pepper, and place in a large self-closing bag or in a large bowl and pour the marinade over. Mix well until are completely covered in sauce. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Coat a baking tray with baking paper and place the chicken wings on a single layer so they won't stick together. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown. I’m sure you will like, Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings 🙂 .
